Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur attended the All Pakistan Three-Day Vice Chancellor’s Committee Meeting held at Bhurbhan Murree. It is recalled that the Vice Chancellors from approximately 180 Public and Private Sector Universities deliberated on the different issues pertaining to higher education sector. The Undergraduate, Graduate and Postgraduate policies were reviewed and revisited. The more focused was on the Ph. D and Undergraduate policies. The recommendations of the Vice Chancellors Committee will be placed in the Higher Education Commission’s Competent Forum.
During the discussion, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto stressed the need to allocate the appropriate funds so the higher education sector may progress in befitting manner. Dr. Ibupoto also deliberated on the governance, transparency and pro-students policies so the youth could contribute positively in the conducive and congenial environment.
The Interclass Badminton Tournament was held at Syed Qaim Ali Shah Sports Complex, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur jointly organized by the Department of Pharmacy and Sports Section. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor was the chief guest of the event.
Speaking to the participants, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said I am delight to see the change among the students after the low intensity of COVID-19 to take part in the sports activities. He said sports activism is a positive trend among the students because healthy mind could play pivotal role in the nation building. Despite financial crunch, we are committed to provide allied facilities to the students. Dr. Ibupoto remarked that within short span of time, the newly constructed building of Students Societies Services will be ready in order to provide a viable platform to different societies to render their co-curricular activities. Beside co-curricular activities, we are providing the quality education to the students of downtrodden class. Dr. Ibupoto said we are training them in line with moral, social and ethical values. We considered our students are our ambassador.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts of Chairman Department of Pharmacy Dr. Abdul Sami Shaikh, Chairman Sports Section Dr. Syed Baqir Shah, Mr. Ishrat Ali Mirani, Student Advisor, and Director Physical Education Mr. Muhammad Murad Pirzada and his team for organizing this healthy activity.
Mr. Asad and Mr. Samad Class B.S-IV won the tournament by 15-13. Mr. Aquib Ali and Mr. Noman Class B.S-III were the runners up.
Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Mr. Ghulam Mujtaba Jatoi, Deputy Director Physical Education, Ms. Saiqa Lashari, Mr. Taj Muhammad Mahar, Sports Officer, Mr. Zohaib Memon, Secretary to Vice Chancellor and others were present.


A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked between Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur and Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (PNQAHE), Islamabad. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur and Prof. Dr. Zia-ul-Haque, President PNQAHE, Islamabad signed the MoU. 
Talking to the participants, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said the academic linkage and collaboration is very essential in order to promote the collaborative research, exchange of Faculty and Students. Currently, a sizeable number of MoUs have been signed between the national and international organizations, institutions of Higher Education. 
Prof. Dr. Zia-ul-Haque appreciated the good will gesture extended by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto for mutual academic cooperation and linkage. He appreciated the steps taken by the Dr. Ibupoto for the promotion of higher education and research at this University. 
The purpose of this MoU aimed at to host the 3rd International Conference of PNQAHE at SALU. The two organizations will work in co-operation to hold the Conference to achieve its objectives to serve the community at large. Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur will develop the conference webpage containing all the necessary information for participants. The webpage link shall be displayed on both, PNQAHE and SALU websites. SALU will select the keynote speakers of National and International repute in consultation with PNQAHE. 
The PNQAHE will facilitate the SALU for Identification and motivation of International keynote speakers to participate in the conference and provide guideline to the Shah Abdul Latif University for hosting the 3rd International Conference of PNQAHE. 
It was decided that future collaboration will remain continue in the interest of both institutions for embarking research and academic activities.

Shehdadkot Campus of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur celebrated Milad e Nabi (SAWW) at campus with religious fervor, pomp and show. The event was graced by renowned scholar and celebrated Academician Professor Syed Gul Muhammad Bukhari as the Chief Guest and keynote speaker. Pro Vice Chancellor Shehdadkot Campus Prof. Dr. Chandan Lal Rohra welcomed the guests and shed life on life and character of Holy Prophet (SAWW).
Professor Syed Gul Muhammad Bukhari told students that salvation and well being in life depends upon submission to will of Allah and following the beautiful path of Holy Prophet (SAWW). The life of Holy Prophet (SAWW) is an ideal and best way to follow for everyone. Even today the solution of all complex and difficult problems of life are found in the teachings of Prophet (SAWW). 
On this occasion Principal of the campus Muhammad Ibrahim Khokhar also spoke on the occasion and infused the spirit of love of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) among the students. During this loving event a large number of students participated by reciting Naats and paying homage to the glorious life and achievements of the Prophet (SAWW). The event was attended by a large number of campus.
