A Cheque Distribution Ceremony of Pensinary Benefits of Retired Faculty Members, Officers and Employees was held at Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur. The Cheques of amount of Rs. 230 Million were distributed among the cheque recipients regarding their pensionary benefits. Prof . Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor presided over the ceremony and gave away the Cheques. 
 
Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto accorded his especial complements and thanks to Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and Secretary Universities and Boards Department for sanction of such first ever huge amount to Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur. 
Dr. Ibupoto said that the pensionary benefits were due and pending from 2017. He remarked that with the untiring efforts and continuous support we achieved this milestone. He also appreciated the efforts of Registrar and Directorate of Finance for the preparation of cases of pensionary benefits. He said the long pending issue of pensionary benefits of the retired staff has been resolved. 
 
Dr. Ibupoto said it is the prime duty of all stakeholders of University to work hard for the soft image building of University. I firmly believe in merit, transparency and adhering my policies in the spirit of University Code. 
 
On this occasion, Prof. (Retd.) Dr. Ghulam Sarwar Markhand, President Retired Employees, Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Mr. Nisar Ahmed Noonari, Director Finance, Mr. Farhan Latif Memon, President Officer Welfare Association, Mr. Qalandar Bux Bozdar President Employees Welfare Association also spoke on this occasion. They lauded the commendable efforts of Prof Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto for availing the pensionary benefits for retired employees of the University. The credit goes to Vice Chancellor who pursued the case properly and approached to the relavant forums. They said it is the day of happiness and rejoice for retired employees because their unprecedented delayed financial problem has been resolved. They said that this is the land mark event will be remembered in the annul of history. 
 
A large number of retired staff attended the ceremony. Mr. Feroze Ali Phulpoto conducted the proceedings of the ceremony.
