A Farewell Reception was hosted by the Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto in honor of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hassan Khaskheli, Chairman, Department of Biochemistry on attaining the age of superannuation on Friday November 27, 2020.
Speaking on this occasion, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said it is an honor for me to host a reception in the honor of Dr. Muhammad Hassan Khaskheli. Dr. Khaskheli contributed significantly for this University. He said I am impressed from his visionary approach. It is dilemma in our society that teachers are ignorant segment of the society. It is high time that we may revive the dignity and prestige of a teacher who is the torch bearer of the society and a real asset in term of service, uplifting the society in right direction.
Dr. Ibupoto said I assure Dr. Khaskheli that he can contribute in any shape including as co-supervisor in the Department of Biochemistry. I am optimistic that he will extend his experience and suggestions for the betterment of the University, he added.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hassan Khaskheli acknowledged and appreciated the good will gesture of Dr. Khalil Ibupoto for hosting this reception in his honor. He said Dr. Ibupoto is a genius personality who day and night is engaged to build the soft image of University with dedication and devotion. He narrated his early life, education and career. He revealed that earlier he joined as Assistant Quality Manager than promoted as Quality Manager, later on joined as Lecturer because he intends to serve the nation as dedicated Professor. He said during my career I adhered the principle of honesty and rule of law.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Hussain Mahar, Dean Faculty of Physical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Mashori, Dean Faculty of Arts & Languages, Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Ali Junejo, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof. Dr. Minhoon Khan Laghari, President, Shah Abdul Latif University Teachers’ Association (SALUTA), Prof. Dr. Ikhtiar Ali Ghumro, General Secretary, SALUTA, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Din Rajpar, Dr. Majid Ansari, Dr. Pir Bux Ghumro, Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari and Mr. Mureed Hussain Ibupoto spoke highly on this occasion.
They said that Dr. Hassan Khaskheli remained a dedicated and committed Professor. He always followed the rules and regulations. He was a man of high character and integrity. He developed Department of Biochemistry on modern lines and promoted the research culture in the Department.
