The Concluding Ceremony of Training Workshop on Peace Building and Social Action Project held at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur organized by the Department of Pakistan of Pakistan Studies and Initiators Human Development Foundation Karachi. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor presided the ceremony and gave away the certificates among the participants. 

 

Talking to the participants of the training workshop, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said peace building is very essential. It is the responsibility of youth to promote the essence of peace and tolerance in the society. Dr. Ibupoto appreciated the initiative taken by the Initiators Human Development Foundation Karachi and Department of Pakistan Studies for the capacity building of the students. Dr. Ibupoto remarked that such types of training workshops are strengthening the new ideas and innovations among the youth. 

 

Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences commended the efforts of Vice Chancellor for his patronage and support to conduct the training workshop for the awareness, capacity building and for the interaction among the students, academia and master trainers. 

 

Dr. Inayatullah Bhatti, Incharge Department of Pakistan Studies briefed the Vice Chancellor about the activities conducted during the workshop i.e creation of peace network, orientation of students network, two days training session, social action project etc. He said this workshop will be benefited for the students in their career building also. 

 

Dr. Liaquat Ali Chandio, Incharge Director Institute of I.R, Dr. Syed Baqir Shah, Mr. Mureed Hussain Ibupoto, Registrar, Mr. Zohaib Memon, Secretary to Vice Chancellor, Mr. Syed Salman Mukhtar, Project Director, Mr. Hoond Raj, Filed Coordinator, Mr. Adnan Ilyas, Administrative and Finance Officer from Initiators Human Development Foundation Karachi, Mr. Ghulam Raza Shahani, Ms. Bakhtawar Jatoi and others were present.
