The Pre-Entry Test of M.S/M. Phil and Ph. D Programs for the Academic Year-2021 of various Faculties, Institutes and Departments was held at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur visited the venue of the test.
Talking to the appearing candidates, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said that Universities are highest seat of learning, research and innovation. It is high time that we must concentrate our efforts for the promotion of research and development so the nation could be benifited from the research culture. Dr. Ibupoto felt his entire satisfaction for the smooth and peaceful conduct of the Pre-Entry Test.
The Vice Chancellor highly appreciated the role of Deans and Admission’s Committee of concenred Faculties and Directorate of Postgraduate Studies for the proper conduct of the Entry Test.
Dr. Naveed Ahmed Shaikh, Director Postgraduate Studies briefed the Vice Chancellor that we have successfully conducted the Pre-Entry Test of Postgraduate Programs. He said incumbent Vice Chancellor has vision of taking this institution to its heights. He informed that more than 900 applicants appeared in the test.
During the visit, the Deans, concenred Heads of Departments accompanied with the Vice Chancellor.

World Teachers Day Jointly Organised Rotary Club of Karachi Creek and Rotary Club Khairpur Bhittai in Collaboration with Students Advancement Fund Endowment (SAFE), Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur in the Conference Hall of Department of Teachers Education. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Advocate Manzoor Hussain Larik, Dean Faculty of Law, Rtn. Captain (Retd.) Izhar Hussain Baig President Rotary Club of Karachi Creek and Mr. Mazhar Khan Jatoi, Regional Head Telenor Bank Sukkur Region were distinguished guests of Honour.
Speaking on this occasion, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto greeted Rotary Leadership of Karachi Creek and Khairpur Bhittai for celebrating the much needed obligatory day (World Teachers Day). He specially thanked Rotary Club of Karachi Creek for providing moral and material support to Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur. He stressed more viable partnership and joint ventures could be practically streamlined resonating with the matching vision of University and Rotary.
A series of virtual and non virtual lecture would be started and an MoU would be inked very soon.
Dr. Ibupoto remarked that teachers are the real leaders of the nation who are contributing positively for the character building and personality development of the students.

Leadership Workshop for Newly Appointed Vice Chancellors was held at Kohsar University, Murree. The workshop was organized by the Inter University Consortium for Promotion of Social Sciences (IUCPSS), a largest network of Pakistani universities, in partnership with American Institute of Pakistan Studies (AIPS) and Kohsar University Murree. The workshop was attended by 16 newly appointed Vice Chancellors across Pakistan.
While sharing his views on the significance of higher education, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur remarked that higher education has key role in the socioeconomic development of any nation. There is need to focus on the key challenges which pertains to higher education i.e. appropriate funding, governance, leadership and collaborative research.
On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor commended the dynamic role of IUCPSS for the holding of this workshop for providing a viable platform to interact for the national cause. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto decorated the Sindhi Traditional Ajraks to Prof. Dr. Anita M.
