A Farewell Reception was hosted by the Vice Chancellor Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto in the honor of Prof. Dr. Imdad Hussain Sahito, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences in recognition of his academic, research and administrative services rendered by him on attaining his superannuation.

Speaking to the participants of the reception, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said Professor never retires because he is teaching the nation up to his last breath. Prof. Dr. Imdad Hussain Sahito played a pivotal role in the development of the University. His services will be lauded because he remained committed, devoted Professor. His integrity and character is very high in his practical life, he added.

Prof. Dr. Imdad Hussain Sahito appreciated the good will gesture extended by the Vice Chancellor for hosting a reception in his honor. He said, Dr. Ibupoto is trend setter and he is recognizing the services of Professors who attain their superannuation. He said teaching is my choice, I have produced talented and obedient students serving at the society in befitting manner.

Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Hussain Mahar, Dean Faculty of Physical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Mashori, Dean Faculty of Arts & Languages, Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Ali Junejo, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof. Dr. Minhoon Khan Laghari, President, Shah Abdul Latif University Teachers’ Association (SALUTA), Prof. Dr. Ikhtiar Ali Ghumro, General Secretary SALUTA, Prof. Dr. Amir Ali Chandio, Dr. Fayaz Raza Chandio, Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dr. Santosh Kumar, Dr. Sajjad Raeesi and Dr. Inayatullah Bhatti also spoke on this occasion.

They said that Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto has introduced excellent tradition to host reception in honor of retiring Professors. They said that Dr. Sahito is man of high character and integrity. He has contributed for the cause of humanity. He always believes in spiritualism, he is a best teacher, cool minded. They said Dr. Sahito constantly faced the different challenges during his assignments. He is a religious scholar also. He remained impartial and his attitude remained polite with the students and public, he is a fatherly figure.
