All Pakistan Inter-University Taekwondo Championship-2022 organized by the Sports Section, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur in collaboration with Higher Education Commission, Islamabad concluded at University. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur presided over the concluding ceremony of the Championship at Syed Qaim Ali Shah Sports Complex of University. 

 

The University of Central Punjab, Lahore won the Championship while University of Lahore was the runners up. The Garrison University, Lahore secured third position. 

 

Talking on this occasion, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said we are committed to provide sports facilities to our students. It is evidence that several Inter-Universities Championships have been hosted by Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. Dr. Ibupoto remarked that healthy and sound mind could contain negative mindset in the society. Sports culture is creating a balanced society based on tolerance, passions and competition. Dr. Ibupoto commended the efforts of Sports Section and Higher Education Commission, Islamabad for promoting the culture of sports by encouraging the youth. 

 

Prof. Dr. Syed Baqir Ali Shah, Chairman Sports welcomed the Vice Chancellor and Officials of the Guests Teams. Dr. Shah applauded the patronage extended by the Vice Chancellor Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto for hosting this national mega event. He said the incumbent Vice Chancellor has always extended maximum cooperation for the provision of better sports facilities to our students. 

 

Mr. Muhammad Murad Pirzada, Director Physical Education extended his vote of thanks to the Vice Chancellor, Guests and participating teams. He said we are committed to provide a congenial and conducive environment for sports so our students could shine their talent nationwide. 

 

The participants’ teams appreciated the hospitality provided by the University administration. The Vice Chancellor distributed trophies and certificates among the participating teams.
